My search box doesn't appear to find anything :(

Anyone else having problems?

If I start off at page:
http://www.bibc.co.uk/mrbs/day.php?year=2017&month=08&day=04&area=1&room=1

and enter "AFC" in the search box at the top of the screen it doesn't return any results, as it has included the date, area etc. in the string passed to search.php:
http://www.bibc.co.uk/mrbs/search.php?search_str=AFC&day=4&month=8&year=2017&area=1&room=1&datatable=1

If I remove the unwanted parameters from the URL it finds all the bookings containing AFC:
http://www.bibc.co.uk/mrbs/search.php?search_str=AFC

I am positive that this search box did not use to function in this manner, although it may well be working as designed :)

It looks like it is the problem referred to above, for which there is both a temporary patch and a proper fix in the latest code in the default branch. See https://sourceforge.net/p/mrbs/bugs/379/.

(By the way, you only need to remove the datatable parameter from the query string.)

I set ExpiresActive Off in the htaccess file in MRBS directory and it makes no difference.

I will read through the other bug in more detail later, to see if I have missed something.

Mmmm. I think it may be a different problem you are seeing. Looking at your site I see a number of errors in the JavaScript console. I'm trying to figure out why.

It looks like the problems you are seeing are caused because your site is for some reason loading an old version of DataTables (1.8.3.dev instead of 1.10.9). Can you try re-uploading the jquery directory from the MRBS 1.6.1 distribution to your server?
