There seems to be a distinctive problem on all flash video (.flv) just when playback finishes at the end the audio jumps in an error type way - Im thinking this is an mplayer.exe problem but is there any hope on this being fixed or are we stuck with it because of mplayer.exe?

OK - good news
This bug is not present in Martin Fiedler's old mplayer.exe, so maybe (if possible) a patch could be added
Please download some FLV files from Youtube or wherever and run some tests to confrim?
OK it is present in Fiedler's MPUI (my mistake).
the problem is the last few miliseconds of audio in FLV repeats itself at the end of playback.
It is an mplayer problem so someone should inform mplayer development about this.
