This should only occur during topology or signaling changes. Since a MPLS forwarder should only ever see packets with labels the MPLS forwarder advertised, it is acceptable for packets with unknown labels to be dropped silently. Thank you very much for your so rapid response ! :-) Since you are very familler with MPLS, do you think that it could be possible to integrate that patch (manually) in my current version linux -mpls. I saw, for example that mpls_in_info.c file, that was changed by that patch does not yet exist ? Thank you very much for your help. Lamia. James R. Hello, I need to enable multicast capability using MPLS. The pach that exists was done for linux 2.4.10-mpls-0.99. However, I'm using linux 2.6.20-mpls1.956. In the main page of linux MPLS, it is mentionned that it exists a recent patch but not yet integrated. Please, could any body send me this patch, or help me to enable MPLS Multicast in this linux version. It is very urgent! Thank you very much. Best Regards, ===================== Lamia ROMDHANI. Hello James And All , I'm just a watcher ( now) . But the list has been exceedingly quiet since "Bert De Vuyst <ber...@at...>" sent that he was closing down his list (ie: ds...@at...) . Is there reason to worry ? I am still very interested in mpls-linux and would be very worried if it should too go away . I'm wondering how any specific queuing scheme can be selected, and it is applied to mpls? Speaking more generally, how to use different queuing schemes with mpls-linux? Another question is, which type of scheduling is being applied? FIFO scheduling, or more sophisticated one? |
