What version of mpls-linux and what version of ebtables? I just tried this with the latest FC6 RPMs for mpls-linux 1.958 and it works fine. NOTE: I had to load mplsbr and create the NHLFE first otherwise the command fails with obscure error messages. > How can I deal with this problem? > Or Are there other alternative methods? >=20 > Well, thanks for your answering anywhere. > Regard. > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft > Defy all challenges. I also post source RPMs. You can use something like alien to explode the source RPM into the components you need. Better yet I bet there are tools to convert a source RPM into a deb. If all else fails you can access my development tree and pull the source from there. Sorry to bother you again. I meet problem about ebtables. When I type the command 'ebtables -t nat -A PROROUTING -i eth1 -j mpls --nhlfe 0x2', system replies: Illegal targe name 'mpls'. I had tried patched ebtables source code and ebtables-mpls rpm, both of them have the same reply. Also, I'm sure mplsbr and ebt_mpls had already compilered into kernel. How can I deal with this problem? Or Are there other alternative methods? Well, thanks for your answering anywhere. Regard. |

I suggest you take a step back and start with an unmodified version of quagga and get your OSPF routing working as you would like. You can contact the quagga mailing lists for detail about how to make this happen. Once you have quagga running and routing as you would expect, then add LDP to the mix and ask your LDP/MPLS related questions here. Thanks for your answering, I deal with it. But now I meet another problem, when I execute ospfd daemon on computer A and B, A and B both will send Hello packet to each other. But!!!!!! The OSPF packet send without 'native-nighbor' !!! In other word, computer A and B can not communicate by OSPF packet each other. I wonder why about this question..... My quagga version is 0.99.6, and has patched by ldp-portable. Following is my ospfd configure: ospfd.conf: hostname ospfd password zebra enable password zebra interface eth0 interface eth1 router ospf network 192.168.1.0/24 area 0 network 192.168.2.0/24 area 0 line vty Does someone also meet this problem? How can I deal with it? |

Hello, If you don't get all the commands in vtysh, you can try to start ldpd on a port (like port 1234) and then telnet to that port (telnet 127.0.0.1 1234), and you get in a vtysh for that protocol. I don't remember exactly, but I think you can start ldpd -P 1234 to specify the port. See if there you have all the mpls ldp commands you're searching. Good luck, Adrian Popa On 9/20/07, 王奕元 <dad...@gm...> wrote: > Apply quagga-mpls.diff to the quagga source distribution. *Apply quagga-mpls.diff to the quagga source distribution. (0.99.6) Go into the quagga/ldpd directory and modify 'create-links' to point to your ldp-portable source distribution. Then execute 'create-links' . Go back to the top of the quagga source tree and configure and compile quagga according to it's directions. * ** *After you have finished compling, you will have a ldpd binary that has the same command line syntax as the rest of the quagga binaries.* *'ldpd' supports LDP, zebra supports staic LSPs.* *(if you are not familiar with quagga hit the '?' key and it will provide you context sensitive help. Also look at 'mpls' at the interface level. There are also 'show' commands availble from the operations more. Look at 'show ldp ?' and 'show mpls ?' for a list of commands.) * Above section is copied from README.quagga-mpls, and then are steps I did. 1. patch quagga-0.99.6 by quagga-mpls.diff 2. execute 'delete-links' 3. modify 'create-links' and execute it. 4. back to quagga-0.99.6 folder, execute './configure --enable-mpls --enable-ldpd --enable-vtysh' 5. compiler quagga After compiling, ldpd binary is located in quagga-0.99.6/ldpd/ I execute zebra, ospfd, and ldpd, and login into zebra. But it's strange that I can only see 'show mpls ?' There is no anything for 'show ldp ?' Are there any steps I missed? Thanks for youring answering. Regard. |

Hello, I am a student italian (I speak a little english), I have a problem. I mu= st apply the patch mpls to iptables. I have the version of iptables v1.3.= 5. The patch is iptables.diff and ,later have moved it in the folder ipta= bles-1.3.5, I have thrown the command: [root@localhost src]# patch -p1 iptables.c. iptables.diff Later I have received the mistake: patching file iptables.c Hunk #1 FAILED at 16. Hunk #2 FAILED at 49. 2 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file iptables.c.rej The next patch would create the file extensions/libip6t_mpls.c, which already exists! Assume -R? [n] I do not know what to do. Help me please.
