Hello 张俊, Take a look at here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpls-linux/files/mpls-linux/ You may choose to directly apply the MPLS patches against the upstream projects (linux-kernel, iproute2, etc) or install pre-compiled deb packages on a Debian based system. Best Regards, Renato. 2011/7/28 张俊 <di...@16...>: > i want to support mpls with kernel 2.6.32 ,so how can i get the patch for > kernel linux-2.6.32,thanks > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Got Input? This is a very old bug that comes up when you enable the stack protector (CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR) on your kernel. Ingo, it seems like you found the problem, would you mind sending a patch? Peng, why are you using such old packages when there are very fresh ones on Sourceforge? http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpls-linux/files/mpls-linux/debian/lenny/ All the packages were successfully tested on Debian Lenny, but they should also work on Debian Squueze and Ubuntu. If you prefer you can apply these patches directly in the upstream tools: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpls-linux/files/mpls-linux/Patches/ The development repositories can be found here: http://mpls-linux.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb-index.cgi Best Regards, Renato. 2011/8/10 Sébastien Cramatte <scr...@ni...> > > Hi, > > As I explain before to Peng, we have release debian ready package .... > Please take a look to http://debian.nixus.es > > I don't understand well what you still try to use alien and rpm ... > > If you do an apt-get source you will be able to download source package and rebuild them for your distrib > using dpkg-buildpackage command ... > > We have prepared a 2.6.32 mpls ready kernel + dkms package for extra modules .... > > Take a look to our repository ! > > > > > 2011/8/10 Peng <jia...@gm...> >> >> Hi, Igor, >> Really appreciate your reply. Hi, As I explain before to Peng, we have release debian ready package .... Please take a look to http://debian.nixus.es I don't understand well what you still try to use alien and rpm ... If you do an apt-get source you will be able to download source package and rebuild them for your distrib using dpkg-buildpackage command ... We have prepared a 2.6.32 mpls ready kernel + dkms package for extra modules .... Take a look to our repository ! 2011/8/10 Peng <jia...@gm...> > Hi, Igor, > > Really appreciate your reply. Hello everybody, This morning we have opened our community debian repository Please take a look to http://debian.nixus.es Please let me know if you got any dificulty to install these squeeze 64 bits packages. Note that you first need to install linux-image-2.6.32+mpls-ready and after dkms-mpls You can install too iptables, iproute and ppp mpls ready packages. We still need to create ebtables and quagga packages. These packages are base on Git patch ! Happy Debian MPLS testing ... Bye |

Hello, I would like to give an hand on Mpls Linux project I've build debian squeeze package for version 1.971 including ppp, ebtables, iptables, iproute, linux-image and dkms ready version of specific mpls modules (mpls, mpls4, mpls6, ...) My main goal is to offer 32bits and 64bits vyatta compatible package. The only thing that still doesn't works is quagga ldp-portable layer due to patching hunk over version 0.99.17 ! As Mpls-Linux src is now separated from kernel patch I have build dkms style package. But I think that is not an easy way because to install it on target server I believe that we must compile it on it and many routers like vyatta hasn't got compiler and build tools ! The next week I will publish all packages on our community repository. Hope that many people going to use it :) Bye |

Hi! After configure some basics scenarios, i'm trying someone with Equal-cost OSPF routes. Does MPLS-LDP portable supports ECPM? I read this message http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=1589812 but i don't know if now this problem is solved. Best regards! |

I think that it's a linker problem that occurs using the make-rpm-jleu script. I also tried the following: - autoreconf -i --force - ./configure --enable-vtysh --enable-mpls --enable-ldp --disable-rsvpd - make - make install The compilation finishes succesfully. The problem now is that all ldp source code as i said is compiled but no installed. I don't have any ldpd file in my /usr/local/sbin directory. Anyone knows how to fix it? |

Hi all I'm trying to trying to install MPLS-Linux on my computer. Following the recomendations on [1], i decided to use the RPM packages for Fedora Core 10. More specifically, i installed the following: - kernel-2.6.27.24-170.2.68.fc10.mpls.1.963.i686.rpm - kernel-headers-2.6.27.24-170.2.68.fc10.mpls.1.963.i386.rpm - iproute-2.6.27-2.fc10.mpls.1.963.i386.rpm After to see that all of they work perfectly, I decided to install Quagga with MPLS support. For this, i follow the following steps: git clone git://repo.or.cz/mpls-ldp-portable.git git clone git://repo.or.cz/mpls-quagga.git cd mpls-quagga git checkout -b mpls-master --track origin/mpls-master cd ldpd vi create-links (modify to point to the mpls-ldp-portable source) ./create-links cd .. ./make-rpm-jleu (after fix some problems in the script) The compilation fails returning this error: impl_lock.o: In function `mpls_lock_release': /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15/ldpd/impl_lock.c:22: undefined reference to `mpls_assert' impl_lock.o: In function `mpls_lock_get': /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15/ldpd/impl_lock.c:16: undefined reference to `mpls_assert' impl_mpls.o: In function `mpls_mpls_outsegment_del': /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15/ldpd/impl_mpls.c:115: undefined reference to `mpls_assert' impl_mpls.o: In function `mpls_mpls_outsegment_add': /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15/ldpd/impl_mpls.c:71: undefined reference to `mpls_assert' impl_socket.o: In function `mpls_socket_writelist_add': /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15/ldpd/impl_socket.c:469: undefined reference to `mpls_assert' impl_socket.o:/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15/ldpd/impl_socket.c:471: more undefined references to `mpls_assert' follow collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [ldpd] Error 1 make[2]: se sale del directorio `/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15/ldpd' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: se sale del directorio `/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/quagga-0.99.15' make: *** [all] Error 2 I don't know where is the origin of this problem. I tried to compile with GCC 4.3 and also GCC 4.1 with same results. I was looking on "mpls_assert.h" and found this: #define NO_ASSERT_PLEASE #ifdef NO_ASSERT_PLEASE extern void mpls_assert(const char* func, const int line, int condition); #define MPLS_ASSERT(x) mpls_assert(__func__, __LINE__, (int)(x)) #else #define MPLS_ASSERT(x) assert(x) #endif In impl_mpls.c for example, there is a call to MPLS_ASSERT that returns error by GCC: void mpls_lock_get(mpls_lock_handle handle) { MPLS_ASSERT (*handle == 0); (*handle)++; } I don't know where is the problem or how to fix it. Dear Hans, I encountered errors like this one and ended up using a prepatched source tree. The one on the git reposiroty has multiple issues: - like in your error message rib.h has a redefinition regarding IPV4 macros (there is a #define value with "3" and "4") - zebra.h lacks mpls structures etc. I tried to refactor it and managed to build zebra, but ospfd and ldpd failed. I suggest you download the all-in-one source tarball from http://code.google.com/p/opensource-lsr/ and try to build the provided kernel and quagga source tree. It worked like a charm (on Debian 5.0). Dear MPLS Linux devs, To play around with the latest MPLS enabled Quagga, I attempted to build it an ran into errors. Dear Developers, I've recently heard about your project, "mpls-linux" and I wanted to test MPLS connectivity among some of my Debian servers. Unfortunately there are no deb packages, so I started to compile and install everything from scratch. Fortunately I was able to patch the kernel and install the modified iproute package (mpls binary), it works fine. What I'm unable to do is clone the git repository of mpls-quagga at repo.or.cz (nonexistent). I discovered that there is a repository at mpls-linux.git.sf.net, and a project named "quagga", but as I browse the tree I sometimes see an "ldpd" direcotry sometimes not, everytime I clone the repository I got a simple quagga, not an ldp-patched version. Maybe It's my fault having spend the last ~36 hours making it work, or maybe I'm seeing things, but I would like to ask any of you whether it is possible to send me an MPLS (LDP)-patched source code or the proper way to clone the ldpd-enabled quagga tree. I've tried the following: git clone git://mpls-linux.git.sf.net/gitroot/mpls-linux/quagga I'm not subscribed to the developer list, please write your responses in private! Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank You! Márton |
