The file that they recommend patching is actually part of the mozilla toolkit, so that really has nothing to do with mplayerplug-in. It appears that opera still can't get the structure size right for I would guess its gecko sdk 1.7 emulation, as if you compile mplayerplug-in with gecko-sdk 1.6 there is no problem there either.
