Hello!

I use mplayerplug-in with Mozilla 1.7.12 and
mplayerplug-in 3.17 (default Ubuntu Dapper packages).

My /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins directory contains
symlinks to the files in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins.

Flash + java works in both browsers. The mplayer plugin
works only in firefox. I have found no way of debugging
why this is (logfiles, console wtc), but mozilla wants
to show the libnullplugin.so in stead of mplayer. If I
remove libnullplugin mozilla displays nothing.

I do not know if this is a mplayerplug-in error (flash
+ java works in both browsers) or a mozilla error (it
works in firefox).

I can reproduce this every time on apple.com/trailers
for example. Also on the plugger test pages linked from
your pages.

    By the way:

I can find no differences in the about:plugins screens for
the browsers (maybe the listing order, it seems to change
every time I try removing a plugin to see if something
    interfers).

mplayerplug-in* is listed in both browsers

set debug=1 in the mplayerplug-in.conf file and run mozilla
from the command line. It sounds like mplayerplug-in was not
    packaged correctly.

Hmm, I get no output at all. I'll file a bug against the
    package in ubuntu, then
