#33 Playing HD stream audio drops/sync

Using the latest version installed on:

HW Config:
PowerMac G5 Dual 2Ghz (MacOSX Panther 10.3.1)
2G DDR RAM
Apple Cinema HD 23" display

I'm playing back 1080p (1920x1080) -24 frame/sec
transport stream files with AC3 -2 channel audio (muxed).

I get decent playback but the sound often goes out of
sync or drops out and goes away after a few seconds of
playing he files. The problem appears worse if startup
up with Command+F to start in Full screen mode. It
appears that the player begins to play the video stream
but the display has not been initiated yet. once it
starts to display video it often appears to lag behind
the video.

I'd be happy to help troubleshoot or try new
