#32 Can't find font

I just installed it, maybe I did some thing wrong.
The error is as follows:
New_Face failed. Maybe the font path is wrong. 0mb A-V:
0.000 [0:0]
Please supply the text font file (~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf).
subtitle font: load_sub_face fail
I have OSX 10.3 Panther
I installes the last binaries, then over writen with the
panther ones.
