I downloaded the latest beta. I am running OS X 10.2.8. Unfortunately it starts, but doesn't play anything. I tried 3 different files. Old Beta 5 can play any of those files.
Am i the only one?

have you activated buffer ? (for slow media) when I activate it I cant Play anything (with beta 6, with beta 5 all right).
b6 doesn't play anything on Panther (10.3 or 10.3.1) unless you disable the cache. You can try that.
