#19 Won't play anything at all

I have installed MPlayerOSX1.1 on a B&W G3 with 896MB
RAM running OSX 10.1.5. Any and all files that I try to
play (ASF, WMV, MPG, etc.), by dragging to the file
"table" and clicking the play button, result in the
control "panel" flashing on and off and nothing
happens. These files all play in VLC, QuickTime Player,
WMP, etc. What do you suggest?

MPlayer OS X requires Mac OS X 10.2.
