[MPlayerOSX-devel] (no subject)

I have used Mplayer OSX for well over a year now and find it to be an 
excellent program for watching movies that are encoded in various 
formats.  (Thanks for all your hard work) .

For the past 2 months or so the player is not working properly. 
(version 2.0b5)   It plays in fast forward mode and I get this terrible 
screeching, probably the soundtrack playing in fast forward.  I am 
running system 10.2.6. I have trashed and redownloaded MPlayer, but I 
still get the same problem.  this never happened before the past 2 
version upgrades.  I have an M-Audio revolution sound card and 
sometimes the player will route the sound through the onboard sound 
regardless of what I have selected in the sound preferences.
