I would like to echo this request. I'm a big fan of this project and 
would like to work on implementing several new features, including a 
moveable play status slider, GUI reporting of mplayer statistics, and 
more flexible aspect ratio preferences.

I've already been working with the Quartz SDL guys on fixing a bug 
where going to full screen would rearrange the windows in other 
applications. Because MPlayer OSX 1.1 was built from the SDL 1.2 CVS, 
this fix got incorporated into it.
