#68 Support for Windows media player files

I was very pleased to find that Mplayer will correctly decode .asf files.
It allows us to use some Windows webcams which although
advertised as streaming mpeg4, do someithing strange to the stream
so that it is only viewable using windows media player 10, i.e. only on
pcs. I was wondering if there is some way of actually viewing the
video stream using mplayer, rather than just the short 5 second clips
the camera sends as a security alert video? AT least with Mplayer I
can view the clips with out fiddlling about in Virtual PC!
