#64 Make Vobsub *.idx files work with MplayerX
I've discovered that using
this line in additional parameters (example):
-vobsub <subtitlefile _without_ fileending> -slang no,en -spuaa 2
will effectively show subtitles from *.idx,*.sub files in language
norwegian and fall back on english if norwegian doesnt exist and
-spuaa 2 gives full quality on subtitle display.
this works perfectly
and what most mac users are looking for is a menu to select this
and preferably one that can be changed for each file and not the
entire player as it is with additional parameters in preferences.
mplayer is the only player i know of this far that supports vobsub
this good. use it, increase popularity.
looking forward to the day when this is included in your otherwise
great application, i love the way mplayer moves. ;)
