If I add a separate audio file in the movie's info window, it won't
play during movie playback (nor will the movie's own audio track).
Mplayer OS X 2.0b8, OS X 10.3.5, G4/400
One more thing, when running mplayer from the commandline with the
-audiofile switch, it seems to dump the audio played into a file called
audiodump.wav in the root of my HD.

Sorry, didn't investigate that properly. It is when playing the movie using
the mplayerOSX frontend (with attached audio file) that the
audiodump.wav is created. The audiodump.wav seems to contain random
audio snippets from the selected audio file mixed with white noise.

BTW, the -audiofile switch works from the commandline (although the
performance hit seems to be huge.)
