I have recorded some TV shows using my PVR-150 card
with Mythtv. After editing out the commercials with
mythtv using the mythtv cutlist, I then exported the
program using nuvexport. The resulting mpeg file plays
PERFECTLY with mplayer.
However when I run DVDstyler, it complains and tries to
remux the file and fails. Debugging down to the demux
level:
When I run version 1.3.1 mpgtx -i myfile I get:
Mpeg 2 Program Stream File [Video/Audio]
Muxrate : 440.55 Mbps
Estimated Duration: 43:15.38s
Checking all time stamps (This may take a while.) ...

(and on and on until finally:)
Time line is interupted at 1782 times.
That means at these points the time stamp is earlier
than the previous one.
You may have problems in joining and splitting this
file, sorry.
Aspect ratio 4/3 (TV)
Not interlaced, chroma format: 4:2:0
Size [720 x 480] 29.97 fps 104.86 Mbps
Audio : Mpeg 1 layer 2

Stereo, No emphasis
When I run it with 1.3 I simply get:
Mpeg 2 Program Stream File [Video/Audio]
Muxrate : 440.55 Mbps
Estimated Duration: 43:15.38s
Aspect ratio 4/3 (TV)
Not interlaced, chroma format: 4:2:0
Size [720 x 480] 29.97 fps 104.86 Mbps
Audio : Mpeg 1 layer 2
128 kbps 48000 Hz
Stereo, No emphasis
But with either 1.3 or 1.31 when I demux the file using
the command:
mpgtx -f -d MyFILE_IN" -b MyFILE_OUT it creates an
unrecognizable file. While the original file is fine
when played with mplayer, the m2v is not a usuable
file anymore. It's just displays a bunch of random
square blocks which totally distort the video.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
