This is the fast and Free (LGPL license) real time MPEG Audio Layer 1, 2 and 3 decoding library and console player. It uses floating point or integer math, along with several special optimizations (3DNow, SSE, ARM, ...) to make it most efficient.

Excellent tool and support. Took a while to figure out remote control on Windows, we thanks to the mailing list support, we finally got it figured out. It would be nice to have a more platform-agnostic remote control interface, probably with socket-based io.

Version 1.22.4 doesn't build at all. Tried on Linux and Windows....
