I see ... the documentation is generated from the svn trunk, not the released version. The current development cycle with lots of API additions (and only intermittend developer time) coming up is dragging along and makes documentation go out of sync for too long.

I'll switch it over to a release branch, or generally have some version info in there. Sorry for the confusion.
