[mpg123-users] Downmix MP3 to mono and play on one channel only

Hi :-)

I have a quick query. I've observed that when I use the command "mpg123 -0 file.mp3" to play a stereo MP3 file, it only decodes the left channel information while still sending it to both channels (L & R) of the audio interface. Is it possible to configure mpg123 to first down-mix the MP3 to mono and then plays that sum on a specific channel (either Left or Right)? We require this functionality for our project as we need to play two different MP3 files on each channel.
