[mpg123-users] Any remote control interface users with an opinion on @P 3?

Hi,

it has been requested that the remote control interface of mpg123
(mpg123 -R, doc/README.remote) adds a response code "@P 3" on the
natural end of the track, in addition to the generic "@P 0" code.

The current snapshots do that, to appear in the next feature release.

I am trying to be careful here: Is there any client application that
can be upset about this change? Should it be opt-in? Is it trivial and
should just be active?

So far, I just added things to the remote interface and I don't recall
complaints. I do not know how many clients actually parse the response.
Any input from you? You can speak up now, before a release fixes things.
