Thanks; hopefully we'll get such stuff on via configure script in the future, though;-)

Hm. Though I also think that mpg123 is a useful tool, but in this line it's just sound -> compress, decompress -> NAS (right?).
Somehow sth. like libaudiooss (http://tvilsom.org/projects/audiooss.html) to get the sox output more directly to NAS could avoid this rather unnecessary step of lossy compression...
