The following incompatibilities make compilation difficult on Solaris
9 (Sparc):
- floorf() does not exist, use floor() instead
- "-lsocket" option needs to be passed to gcc to include libsocket
- "-lnsl" option needs to be passed to gc for the herror() function to
be correctly linked
- under mysterious circumstances automake would insert
include <authors> into the includes in the .c files</authors>
however after 4ish hours of poking around I have managed to get
it to work. I would upload a binary but I suspect it's linked to my
personal ogg libraries which live in weird places.
:(
Hope you work these issues out. Thanks for the program.

Thank you to Fintan Ryan for this report.

This post is very old, but useful.
I am not closing the ticket, but keep in mind that it's obsolete, since now you have to compile both libmp3splt and mp3splt.
