#195 "error: no plugin matches the file" in Slackware 14.1 x86-64

I installed mp3splt-2.6.2+libmp3splt-0.9.2 using the binary packages from Slack, for x86-64.

Trying to run mp3splt on a mp3 file, I get "error: no plugin matches the file"

These are the installed libraries:

To me it seems all needed libraries are installed okay.

Installing libmad-devel and libmp3splt-devel as suggested here did not help.

Why won't it find the mp3 Plugin? Cause it seems to be as available as the other two, see also my post above:

$ file /usr/lib64/libmp3splt0/libsplt_ogg.so.0
/usr/lib64/libmp3splt0/libsplt_ogg.so.0: symbolic link to `libsplt_ogg.so.0.0.0'

$ file /usr/lib64/libmp3splt0/libsplt_mp3.so.0

See? It finds the ogg one, and the mp3 one that is just as existent and installed in the same way, is not found. Why?
