Using mp3splt-gtk 0.9.1 and mp3tag 2.5.8.
Procedure:
- split a large mp3 into several smaller ones
- drag the created files into mp3tag
- modify the mp3 tag in the tabular fields (error seems to only occur in this case)
- mp3splt-gtk reports "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
- Windows 7 reports "mp3splt-gtk.exe has stopped working". Following that, there is this information:

I manage to reproduce it every time. Note I'm not using the svn version but the stable download as provided on the site.
Hello,
If I understand well, if you split your file before modifying it with mp3tag it works correctly and if you split it after modifying it you have the crash.
Am I correct ?
Do you have this error right after hitting the split button ?
Is it possible to send me a small file that I can use to test ?
If you don't want to post here, you can send it to me by mail at m@ioalex.net
Thank you.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply, I don't get notifications of any reply... My procedure was listed as above: I take one mp3 and split it into (for example) 3 smaller ones. I drag the 3 smaller ones to mp3tag and edit their tags. Then I get the error.
Doesn't matter what mp3 you use, so shouldn't be file specific. I assume you have plenty of mp3s on your own computer, so simply try to split one into parts, then edit the tags of the resulting parts (while keeping mp3splt-gtk open, of course).
Detailed procedure:
1. Drag or load "large.mp3" in mp3splt-gtk
2. Drag .cue file into splitpoint list or create own splitpoints.
3. Hit 'split'.
4. Drag or load 'split_part1.mp3' and 'split_part2.mp3' (whatever the names are) into mp3tag
5. Modify the tags of 'split_part1.mp3' and 'split_part2.mp3' in the table.
6. Watch mp3splt-gtk (which is still open) crash in the background.
