I would also like to see this feature, but has this project been abandoned? As a workaround I've been using mp3tag after mp3splt to add the -Y portion you refer to in your post.

Looks like the bug with splitting seconds by Audacity labels is even bigger! The program ignores leading decimal zeros at all! It sets splitpoints in 0.09 (0.099, 0.0999, 0.09999...) seconds later!
Greetings! I am using mp3splt on Windows 10 (using git bash MINGW environment) from a python program I'm building to 'automatically' process numerous recordings from a Zoom H2N recorder. I put the program on my path and it worked perfectly from the command line (using bash or cmd). Hello, the problem still exists in version 2.6.2 (windows 10) and cannot try the mod renaming the file "libsplt_mp3-0.dll" as I get the error "error: no plugin matches the file"
Same here with me. I had a "ç" and "#" char in filemane and it didn´t work with error "Resource not found". Could someone please fix the code to accept special chars ? thanks.

I found the problem - the desktop entry was set up incorrectly. EDIT desktop file: /home/[username]/.local/share/applications/mp3splt-gtk...etc Find 'StartupNotify" and set it to 'true' - after this change the GUI starts up fine.
Update: turns out the GUI is not on the Synaptic server. The Synaptic components were vers 7.2. I installed the GUI vers 7.2 from the SourceForge server, and that install worked, and added the program to the menu. I can now start the GUI, but it is unresponsive. I'd appreciate any help, ideas, suggestions, etc. Thanks in advance.
