I sincerely apologize for not replying sooner; I have been very busy lately. :-) More accurate statistics are a main goal of what I'm aiming at, as well as _much_ better searching capabilities. Right now, it appears I'll have to add custom fields to the DB that allow for things such as a song's featured artists, or a better way to signify a song that is like a duet. There are no allowances in current ID3 standards for these fields, and they are required, especially for me; I do hope to be able to write a subset of all information to a MP3's tag, but the primary means of information entry will be directly into the DB. ID3 tag importing will remain, but you'll usually want to change the way a song is entered. Thanks for the ideas, and enjoy your weekend.

Of course without formal documentation on the RIMPS project I have no idea if they have addressed this issue or not.
