Hi, here are my tips:

  • Use notifications to alert the user that the app is running
  • Maybe I don't understand, but the app doesn't do anything :(
  • Use the progress-bar or logs to see what the app is currently doing

Also, I add a test folder, but I don't see any folders created.
How can I send you a report file?

Mouzi is intentionally designed to be silent and unobtrusive - it lives in your system tray and only speaks up with a subtle toast notification when it organizes something (screenshot below).

    What already exists:

    • Toast notifications - appear every time a file is organized (screenshot below)
    • Popup - left-click the tray icon to see recent actions, weekly stats, and clean manually
    • History & Logs - right-click tray > Settings > History shows every action with undo
    • Weekly stats - visual breakdown of what got organized

The "test folder doesn't create subfolders" issue was a bug we just fixed in [#7]dfe22b. If you update to the latest version, custom folders should work correctly.

A progress bar isn't planned - Mouzi processes files instantly (within 2 seconds of download completion), so there's nothing to track. The app is meant to be invisible infrastructure, not a dashboard you keep open.

If you have other suggestions, feel free :)

@Br41nfck Thanks for the screenshot. I see the popup opens but shows "No actions yet" - this means no file has been organized yet. Did you download anything yet to get Mozui work?

A few questions to help debug:

    1. Which folder did you drop the file into? Make sure it's added in Settings → Folders.
    2. What file type? Try a common one like .jpg, .pdf, or .zip — these have default rules.
    3. Does the folder exist on disk? Check if C:\YourFolder is actually there.

Running as admin shouldn't be necessary, Mouzi works as a normal user. If the above doesn't help, feel free to send a short screen recording and I'll take a look.

Interestingly, I installed the app on my home computer, and it works perfectly. Perhaps there are some administrative rules on my work laptop (I'll check later).
