Thanks Andrew, This is even more strange than I told: this morning, I remembered that playing many many times with vlc can fool a bit the X system. So I made other test after just machine boot: It worked.... ONE TIME: the 1st time, everything's ok, vlc is killed, BUT after that no way!!! (well, every 1st time is working) I also compiled it (strange, the expanded directory made is 3.2.6, but the generated package is 3.2.5-1) Same problem. I took a look on the source, but there's nothing wrong AFAIK: the 'on_event_start' and 'on_event_end' have the same structures. I now suspect a variable crush (may be the string containing the command for 'on_event_end' is rewrited because of lack of malloc() or something like that.) Unfortunately, my C is far away and I haven't got many time to play with it :( I'm gonna just try to printf() the command string to the screen when it is called. I don't know how to fix this problem, but I remember t= hat I had a similar problem a while ago when I tried using arecord to rec= ord audio and kill it in the same way. The same problem you described occ= urred to me too. One quick thought off the top of my head is that Motion= may be 'intercepting' the kill signal? Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. >=20 > Sincerely, > Andrew Hamilton >=20 >=20 > _______________________________________________ > Motion-user mailing list > Mot...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/motion-user > http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome >=20 |
