IMHO it'd be a good idea to have a combined ffmpeg/motion release. That way one could perhaps write the motion Makefiles so that they know about ffmpeg headers and libs, and ensure that the versions are compatable. Otherwise the end user has to practically debug the make and install strategies of ffmpeg and motion. |
