You wrote that you had downloaded and installed motion 3.2.4_snap3 (which is a good thing - it should be very stable). But from the program output below you clearly run an older version of Motion. Are you sure you have full control of what you actually run? Maybe you built it but in reality when you start Motion you still start an old version installed from rpm maybe.
