Hi all, I'm trying to make motion work with an epia PD6000 which is a mini-itx board w/ fanless cpu (@600MHz). Don't know whether is due to the bus or the cpu but I get an error message on syslog: bttv0: timeout: drop=0 irq=blah/blah risc=blah bits: VSYNC HSYNC OFLOW RISCI Right after that motion dies badly (killed by sigkill). With a little investigation, I've found the message in syslog comes from bttv-driver.c (kernel), but it is considered to be simply an info, not even a warning. I tryed to put some extra logs in motion to find out the cause, without any form of success. :-((((((( Sometime I reach some code and sometime I do not. Since I'm running just two threads (main thread plus one for the input) and I put extra logs in video.c (motion), it seems to me that problems are outside motion itself, more likely in v4l stratum, at least with such hw. At this point: did anyone ever make motion work on such an epia? NOTE: Nearly the same setup (just different kernel) goes straightforward with an asus mb and P4, where I can get motion work fine.
