Thanks for the hint. I'm not so interested in the motion detection, but rather in the stills. I want to make a timelapse movie out of it. In the meantime, I have captured a bit with "webcam". Here, I see no distractions, but unfortunately, the brightness is way to high.. Nevertheless: This makes me think, that something is doable in motion with the configuration. Is there a way to let motion poll less frequently?
