I'm not sure as i don't have idea how stable is that driver you use ,
but looks a problem of sync in buffers.

I'll bet for your driver , i never saw a problem like that with motion.

Are you sure that you are using a good driver ?

If lsusb shows 046d:08da , then you should use gspca driver instead.
