[First of all, for those of you reading this for the first time, we're trying to integrate as much as we can of both Metadistros and Morphix poject in Debian, at the same time we try to see how both projects can collaborate. For the Debian integration we have created a project in Alioth.] The Alioth project is created now. But as Alioth has still some issues I have not been able to add Sean and Teo. I have only added Andreas and Vigu. Anyone who currently is not a Debian developer must go to register for being added ( https://alioth.debian.org ) I have also created a list, you'll see it in the metadistros project. This list is intended for discussing integration on Debian, but it's opened to other things :) By other hand, after some disccussion in metadistros Spanish list we've reach the conclusion that trying to use Morphix concept of modules= =20 together with Metadistros[1] concept would be great. This will allow to easily create distribution for people who don't need to be asked for any module they want to load or make distributions for people who will be asked about what module they want to load. For example, in a school you could create only a CD. When it boots it asks you in which degree are you, loading the module with documents and programs you use in that degree. =20 Right now Metadistros is working hard in what they call the "shoehorn"[2], which is the part of the system that makes things work as Live CD. This system will support i18n through gettext. What I'd like here is to open a discussion on how things should inter-operate to give a unified system, and with this provide a powerful way to create your own distribution. [And Juanje, please make the effort of participating in this. We'll help you with your English if you need] Personally I'd like to collaborate more, but my exams start in a week and I have another "little" problem: my ISP has installed a transparent proxy-cache and seems that it doesn't like *.sourceforge.net, so I cannot dig into Morphix webpage for now. Please, try to look for ways of collaboration.
