Hi list, When I boot live cd, the font size of the menus and applications are very huge. I need to reduce font size, any idea which file to look? I use kde in mainmod. -Basanta |

Perhaps it's best to just keep the mainmods to the bare minimum of packages for the various versions; if people want more they can always modify the templates. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGYiHiQeuQA5TF/UsRAkPDAJ0Q1T4uCjKieYPTZA6z2j8FvK7FaACfUhH2 dUfHsV3abFmLVdCx6NQg2Ao= =+lZ0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Over the last few days, several of the autobuilds have been incomplete (to be honest, for some months..). Much of this is down to packages being renamed or retired from Etch now that it has become stable. At some point in the near future, we need to go through the main templates and weed out obsolete packages - I can filter the build logs to identify which ones need deleting or editing. Will post once Zathras has done a run through all of them. In the meantime, does morphix-game need to include samba ? Should we also look at rationalising the templates in general ? Regards, Paul. |

I'll temporarily remove xconf from the mcp dependencies, until I'm able to sort this out. Probably has to do with some xorg-renaming. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGYCMpQeuQA5TF/UsRAr6aAJ9D42svh2ES8Go0BDDFJzpkeBlvbACePIyy au/dBsc+FMMG89gf6Os+FEE= =VmXQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

We have a (possibly) more serious problem... mcp depends on xconf which in turn depends on xlibs - xlibs no longer exists in etch, being replaced by xorg packages. Repackaging xconf currently fails due to xf86Parser.h being missing from xserver-xorg-dev 1.1.1 - Need 1.3.0 (currently in Sid), but then we are missing libxf86config.a so linking will also fail. A replacement HD would be nice. http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/95621 However, this is the 2nd HD that has broken whilst being used for AutoTesting. It may be that the couple of Gigs of captured screen shots per AutoTesting video puts quite a strain on a Hard Drive. On the overhand these have been re-cycled HDs. Full Disclosure. Hi fellow Morphers, pritisd discovered today that all modules on http://www.morphix.org/autobuilds/mainmod/sid/ have approximately the same size. I checked some logs, and found the following line: W: Failure trying to run: chroot /tmp/libmorphix-HJ5MxH mount -t proc proc /proc After that, mmaker tries to make something of it, but it obviously fails to build a proper main module. Anyone has a clue what's going wrong? Morphix installer is being converted in to morphixinstaller version2. The development work, can be seen in the svn repository. It needs some tender living care at the moment. The development work, (Alex de Landgraaf et al - correct me if I am wrong), is work in progress. Morphix installer will install the LiveCD in to a 'real' install, so your setting, updates and files will be saved on the HD between reboots. The other way to install Morphix - Is to use the HD as a cdrom. Think of the HD as a faster LiveCD. I have done some work on this previously - about 1.5 year ago. http://morphix.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/morphix/trunk/mpmis/mpmis?view=markup However the code could do with some maintenance - if you fancy having a play. I am _trying_ to put together a new release of MorphingMorphix and MorphixLiveKiosk. I may try to include mpmis. Hope this helps, Brendan p.s. Sorry for the delay _long_ week. |

Hi there friends ! I was playing with morphix once again. This time I intended to create a live CD for a friend of mine, but he does not speak a word of english. As I am from Brazil, I use "pt_BR" for LANG , LANGUAGE and/or LC_ALL. I tried to set them up inside my /etc/profile but had no success. I also tried to create a script to export the variables during morphix boot, but had no success again. Morphix always set the time to New York and the language to C (even if you pass lang=us) at boot time. Any suggestions ? Thank you ! Gabriel. |
