have used many dialers (wvdial, gkdial, kppp etc) and
yawmppp is superior IMHO.
Easy to config and it works for non root users without
security holes!
Comes with logging and stats.
Preferred client is yawmppp.thin

i'll take a look at it, have been busy on my own dialupconf
tool (using wvdial) but I'm always in for better ideas :)
