No channel translators

I've just downloaded and installed the RSS plugin 2.0.2 on Eclipse 3.1.1, no problems.  When I click "New RSS Channel" and then enter a URL (for instance,  http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/news/dw_tech_nl.rss.  Doesn't actually matter, though--I've tried others), no channel translators are showing up in the "source translator" box.  The "Finish" button thus remains disabled.  What am I doing wrong?

No errors are showing up in the error view either, by the by.  And I'm running this on Win32 (XP).

    Thanks,
    Walter Gildersleeve

I am also facing the same problem on Eclipse-3.1.1 and the same problem exists even if I tried the rss plugin 2.0.2 on Eclipse-3.0. Someone please help me at the earliest possible.

      Thanks

Channel creation only works when you are on the RSS Perspective.

Once channels have been crated, you can browse them in the appropriate views, no matter the perspective you are in.

I too am having the same problem regardless of being in the RSS perspective.

Once I enter a valid RSS URL the wizard responds with "Select a channel translator."

However, none are available to select from.

Managed to get external feeds working by selecting the eclipse Internal Web Browser as the RSS User-configured editor.

Managed to get internal feeds working by substituting domain name with internal IP addresses. Obviously a poxy proxy problem.

Apologies if I'm stating the obvious to some but hopefully by being verbose about my efforts it may be of use to someone else.
