MoreUnit breaks the default Eclipse keybindings. Ctrl+j is incremental find and ctrl+r is run to line, but with MoreUnit installed these don't work, and it's not possible to change the MoreUnit bindings in the Eclipse key binding preferences. MoreUnit should not override the default bindings and it should allow it's bindings to be customized by registering them in the standard way.

    Hi Sam,

I don't know exactly when this conflict occurred for the first time, but at the time MoreUnit proposed Ctrl+J as a shortcut, it wasn't a problem, whatever the OS (and the same goes for Ctrl+R). It is quite hard to find a shortcut that doesn't conflict with another, already existing one, and of course things can change over time.
Anyway, you do can customize the bindings. Just click "Unbind Command" or clear the binding field.

    Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. For some reason I couldn't find the MoreUnit bindings in the key bindings before (and neither could my colleague), but you're right, they are there. It's odd though that the Ctrl+R binding doesn't show up as a conflict with Run to Line.

I still think you should try to find a key binding that doesn't conflict with Eclipse defaults. I know that's not easy though.

No problem, I'm glad that you could solve your issue :-)

Otherwise, considering that MoreUnit users have been used to those shortcuts for some years now, I think things will stay as they are...
