Well, the summary says:

  A PHP class offering Web developers a simple, yet immensely powerful
  "drop in" permission system to their current Web based applications.

It's clear to me :)

Anyway, the authors showed great interest in mgw using phpGACL in the
past and are very open and responsive to suggestions and questions.

The documentation could still be better (unless it has changed, the
API docs were incomplete last time I looked, but hey - I have used the
thing already, so I know what to do with it...).

But they use Smarty and ADOdb already, which makes it a good match for
us.

So, +1 from me...
