Summary: Can't open attachments

Initial Comment:
We are running mgw 0.6.8 on PHP 4.3.2. 
But sometimes we can't open attachments. mgw shows the
attachment and shows also the right filesize and
filetype. But when we save the attachment, it is only 1
byte large.
We have already examined the file-size-limitation but
this is not the reason for the problem. 
It's not predictable when this error occurs.
