Not at all. po file needs to be placed into source po/ directory and
added to LINGUAS file. Then 'make install' takes care of doing right
things.

Well, I add/remove/change stuff all the time. I didn't have to
care about strings stability yet.

I think. You can send me what you got, and I'll add it to medit, or
I can tell you what to do (there are some intltool commands you need
to use). It depends on what you're most comfortable with, either you
like fiddling with sources or you prefer just to edit po file, etc.
