I have python 2.4 gtk and pygtk 2.6.1
and gcc 3.3.4
Where can be the problem ?
BTW, i have also try with 0.8, no more success. Have you volunteer to make french .po ?

The bug is fixed, but I don't have time to make a release right now.
About .po file: nobody is doing that, so you are welcome to translate medit to French :)
Finally, it is not possible connect to http://munt.mine.nu:8080/files/medit-0.7.2.tar.bz2 but I have succeeded with the version 8.0. French po is in progress... but I need install a more "fresh" pygtk for testing.
