If the anser is yes, I guess I could take a look at the translation, maybe help a little, but I'm afraid I'm not able to maintain full translation myself. But I could colaborate.
(And what is happening with Palemoon en_US spellchecker that isnt loading in this text field? My English is not that good to live without a spellchecker, ehehe.)

There is multi-language support, but no Portuguese, neither BR nor PT. You could take the pot file here and translate it: https://bitbucket.org/medit/medit/src/42c6bfc559ad9ca2626d2f6bc985e469fd19b18d/po/?at=default, and I can add it, but I am in position to maintain it either. On the other hand, UI doesn't change all that often.
