The main modules, currently in pre-apha stages, are:

1. Mole Station - this is the admin console for monitoring and configuring Mole
2. Mole-ster Daemon (moled and molested) - the deamon which either gathers data (on Child nodes), or parses it (on Parent nodes)

The concept is that all data is thrown into a database on the Parent node as cheaply as possible, saving runtime for production services. The Parent node then checks recent data for anything over threshold and sends alerts.

The Parent also scans weekly and/or monthly data to render trends and issues warnings.

Basically, Alerts, Warnings, Monitoring, Reporting and Trending are all regarded as the same thing, just with different levels of urgency.
