Last night, we have submitted the revised actuator PCB design to our board manufacturer into full production. We are expecting to receive 200 sets of actuator boards in one month from now, out of which 60 sets will be equipped with a new switching power supply to support the AX-12 servos.

The revised 3-board set design is built around ATmega164P/324P/644P. It includes the new switching 1A 9.7VDC power supply for external motor, optional add-on linear regulator for external loads, TWI extension interfaces, individually addressable 8-bit RGB LEDs for every side of a Molecube, 2 UARTs tested to operate at maximum speed of 2 Mbps, and one dedicated ADC input for optional analog sensors.
