Introduction
Nowadays, video and audio players exist everywhere such as VLC media player, Windows Media Player, etc. All of them play different file types like avi, 3gp, mob, flv, mp3, mp4, and others of audio and videos. Some of those applications can be downloaded from the internet for free. But there are also applications that can be bought and has a licensed. Each Media Player has differences with each other. Various types of this application can be use in smart phones, laptops, netbooks, tablets, and computers.
About the software
Media player is a term typically used to describe computer software for playing back multimedia files. While many media players can play both audio and video, others focus only on one media type or the other. Such players are known as either audio players or video players and often have a user interface tailored for the specific media type.
Different Media Players have different features. Users can set the volumes, the speed, brightness, zoom, and subtitles. Effects can be also set in media players. There are also different icons such as play, stop and pause.
The project is based on the application that plays audio, video and even previews picture. This was created using Microsoft Visual 2010 and perform like Windows Media Player. In this program, the user can play and view audio, video and preview picture. Adding of audio and video in the playlist is also one of the features of our software. Play, Pause, Stop, Next and Previous are action that can use in the application. The created software was made for school purposes. Comments and contribution to the software is very much welcome.

Significance
Because of the increasing demands in media players, Modern Greek Group decided to create a video and audio player that is called MG Media Player. Thus, will give benefit to the developers and to the users as well.
The main beneficiary of the MG Media Player are the users who love to watch movies, video clips, MTVs and other videos, and those who loves listening to music. It is easier to use than usual audio and video player.
The developers would value the importance of their work as well as enhancing their skills through creating this software and for the future researchers; this study could be used for their reference in having another research of this kind.
