I have been trying to migrate from Apache1.3 with mod_auth_mysql and MySQL 3.x to a new server with Apache2.2.6, MySQL 5, etc.
I'm haven't got it running yet, but it appears that database authentication has been standardized to use mod_authn_dbd instead of various database-specific modules.
Go to httpd.apache.org and check out the documentation.

has anyone done or seen anything about porting this module to apache2?
