Supported Devices
Every device that supports Java MIDP 2.0 and includes bluetooth connections (JSR-82) and file connections (JSR-75) extensions should be able to run Mobile Trail Explorer. But as we don't live in a perfect world there are big differences in Java implementations between devices. Also different GPS units acts differently.

Hi, I'm trying to pair a BT359 with a Nokia N95. The pairing works fine in the Nokia but the Bluetooth light flashing on the BT359 says it's not paired (flashes slowly). Any suggestions welcome. Many thanks.

Works OK on Nokia 6600 slide with LD-4W GPS module, but it's not trusted by the phone, so every time you want to save a voice comment or a GPX, you get asked to confirm.

I am trying to use my BTG PS74R (GALILEO) GPS with a new PC running Windows 7. It keeps asking for a pairing code (BTG already added as a device) but there is none for the GPS I can find. Any suggestions?

Would really like to see full Blackberry support. 1.14 and new beta mostly work with 8350i Curve running OS 5.0 and Globalsat 359CS gps receiver. Will not work with integrated GPS. Will track just fine and save track but will not export or save GPX/KML file, gives file structure error (GPX: Save Filed java.lang.Exception: writeToFile:Open Connector:net.rim.device.api.io.file.FileIOException: File system error (1003)).

"Nokia 6303 + Nokia LD-4W works fine", but there are some memory problems :-( Longer trails unable to save. For example unable to save GPX a 30-40 minutes long track. KML a bit longer, I got an exception while saving to KML a 1.5 hours long track. (All settings on default.) About one hour long track can be saved to KML. So it works fine, but save frequently! :-)

MTE 1.15.0 runs on Nokia 2710 using internal GPS. Not fully tested, but positioning works, along with speed, which are all I need. Flicked through all screens & all looked normal, except no feedback on satellites i.e. sky view empty, reports zero satellites count, no PDOP.
