#196 Trail recording records only one position

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start the program on sony ericsson K800i, with Holux M200 external
bluetooth GPS receiver
2. Export folder is set on memory stick, and has map in offline cache
3. start recording
4. Stop recording after sometime.
5. Save the file in KML/GPX
6. View the file in google earth.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The trail points should be seen, specified by the interval set in settings
but only the END point is seen in trail, only 1 position gets recorded.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.15 Beta as well as 1.14.

Please provide any additional information below.
export folder resides in memory stick, along with offline cache file
locale is english, units is in KM, all options are displayed like co-ords,
speed, heading, etc..
max positions to draw is 200
drawing style is draw the whole trail (but this doesn't work on display)
WGS84 is chosen
Draw OSM maps is chosen

I don't think this has anything to do with the export folder.  I've tested it on my
SE K530i and I see the same symptoms, whether the export folder is on e: or c:.  As a
matter of fact, I remember that this issue came up a while ago on the mailing list,
and someone submitted a patched binary and maybe a patch.  If I remember well, it had
something to do with the code that reads the data coming in from the GPS antenna.  I
have since lost that binary, and I can't manage to find that message in the archives.
